Beautiful skin is the ultimate fashion statement this Spring.

www.caressyourstyle.com

What a great way to end last week than to spend it with Kim Kardashian and style-guru Carson Kressley who were teamed up by Caress to trade style secrets and to show women how to make skin the ultimate fashion statement and show off their style with sexy skin-revealing Spring fashions (straight from Kim's closet). Carson was hysterical as he and Kim answered questions from callers for an on-air Q&A session. Carson answered questions and gave previews to Spring's hottest fashion trends while Kim gave tips for getting gorgeous head-to-toe. With Spring finally here, women everywhere are trading their Winter coats for Spring-revealing styles. Check out Caress's Skinwear Collection - a complete line of body washes and beauty bars which includes the NEW! Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash & Beauty Bar With Burnt Brown Sugar and Karite Butter. It gives women gorgeous skin that they will want to flaunt. For Kim's look, I wanted it to be fresh, sexy, and glowing. I first evened out her complexion by mixing a highlighting luminizing foundation, a soft golden liquid foundation, and a liquid moisturizer. Then I dabbed on a touch of concealer and blended well and set with a loose mineral powder. For cheeks, I blended on a bronzer/soft peach cheek color for a soft glow. On Kim's eyes, I first defined and groomed her beautifully shaped eyebrows. Then I used soft brown eye-shadow to lightly contour her eyes and a deep brown eyeliner to lightly define the eyes. Then I curled and coated her lashes with black mascara. For the lips, I kept them very sheer and neutral by lining them with a soft peach lip-liner and filled them in with a pale pink lip-liner. Finally, I topped off the lips with a sheer beige gloss for a sexy pout.

Love this look you have created.
    You should do a make-up Q&A post.
    I'd love some tips.
Come by my blog sometime :)

Wow, Kim looks amazing. I love that look you created. It’s beautiful. You are so talented. I hope that someday I can be half as good as you are at doing my own make-up!

You really are amazing and I love your blog! I’ve been checking it everyday and also going back and checking all of your old posts! Thank you so much for sharing your tips Troy!

Love this (and love Kim K.!) Yes, a Q&A would be great.

One thing I am getting more aware of now that I am in my mid-thirties is undereye concealer accentuating the fine lines around my eyes. *sigh* I am not using it anymore but I still want to lighten and brighten the area … Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Thanks a lot for the comments.
It's always a pleasure to work with Kim. Caress is a great line and I have used it and given it to many of my clients. You might remember my work with Nicole Scherzinger for Caress's Brazilian Body Wash Campaign.
As for Q&A. Honestly, This blog was designed to share my vision,my work and my inspiration with everyone. I didn't design it with a "how to,Q&A" in mind. Although I do love to share some of my favorite lines and products I use. It takes a lot of time just to manage what I doing now with the blog and I have so many ideas I want to post. I'm working on a project that would allow me to be more interactive with you guys, But for now I hope you'll keep checking things out here. Sometimes I'll explain the look in detail and sometimes…I won't. The one thing I leave out is the one thing I get a bunch of comments on.. It's not always about exactly what I did and what I used. I hope you can take what I share and make it your own. I want to inspire you to create with make up, not just copy. Somethings are meant just for photo-shoots and I would not recommended to use everyday. Also I don't always like to "De-glamorize" my clients and my work. I may not want to divulge every secret. Someday when I'm promoting my own beauty-line. I promise to spill it all. But for now, I appreciate all your comments, but I hope you understand I'm just not able to answer all your questions. It really bums me out, because I wish I could get you all in my Make up chair and play.. Maybe someday when I learn how to clone myself.
    My best
    Troy

KK looks gorgeous as usual! Not sure what is different and glowing about this pic.. maybe it’s because she looks a little fairer against the black hair.. sort of snow white-ish.. beautiful, almost like a porcelain doll.. far out, id love to look in the mirror and have that as my reflection!

Hi Troy! Can you please tell me what you used to make Kim’s skin (arms, neck, upper chest) so shimmery? Thank you so much!

I would love to learn how to re-create that look for a medium-dark latina skin tone. It is very hard to buy makeup for my complexion. and makeup artist always make me look too made up. A q&a will be great! It will be so helpful for people like me who are currently trying to undergo a self-makeover. It is amazing how a little makeup makes a woman feel…especially after a difficult time in life. I absolutely love your work and you have absolutely inspired me to look my very best everyday no matter what life throws at you. I am working on my makeup…clothes are next. I know that its just makeup…but you have no idea what accidentally discovering this blog has meant for me…This has been like therapy…so I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks for the comments, I don't do Q&A in this blog, but I do answer questions on Stylestudio.com on the message board. This blog isn't set up for Q&A.
But feel free to send me a message on the Style Studio site. I just might answer your question on camera..
    My best

Hi Troy! Kim looks so awesome! Where did you use the Becca skin perfector on her? Did you dab it on the cheekbones or mix with foundation? She looks glowing!

  17. Great article, thank you very much!
